Re: Основные проектные решения для энергоблока с реактором БН-1200 (Всего: 0) от на 31/01/2013
Interesting paper and data. Just several comments: 1. All current NPPs, especially, water cooled, are far behind modern conbined-cycle power plants (k.p.d. up to 62 % gross) and supercritical pressure coal-fired PPs (k.p.d. up to 55% gross). Therefore, the major driving force for Generation IV reactors / NPPs are the increased k.p.d., at least to reach 45-50% gross. 2. Also, at temperatures of 550 C and beyond there is a possibility to co-generate hydrogen at economical levels through thermochemical cycles or at 850 C and above through high temperature electrolysis. Therefore, US is mainly looking into high temperature helium reactors. The main objective is to use hydrogen instead of oil for transportation. However, another concept supported by DOE is a sodium reactor ( http://nuclear.energy.gov/genIV/neGenIV4.html [nuclear.energy.gov] ) 3. Actually, BN is the Generation IV concept, therefore, here Russia is the world leader! BN-600 is the only one Gen IV reactor in operation in the world! It is very interesting design and Russia has here a unique experience. However, I don't think that this reactor can improve its k.p.d. beyond 43%, but this reactor is important in terms of efficient fuel cycle. 4 Good luck in developing this reactor!
